Foreign language education company focused on play-based, immersive language education for children 1-10. The Language Stars mission is to revolutionize how and when American children learn foreign language to foster a future generation of multilingual Americans.
Chief Marketing and Enrollment Officer
- Led marketing and enrollment strategy for 20 language centers in the Chicago and Washington DC metro areas, as well as a school business that served more than 150 schools from pre-K to 8th grade.
- Developed launch marketing strategies for new centers in the Washington DC metro area.
- Served as a member of the Language Stars management team and represented marketing and enrollment in meetings with investors and strategic partners.
- Spearheaded a redesign of the Language Stars web site focused on streamlining the design, expanding paths to inquiry forms and adding customer blogs and testimonials.
- Increased year-to-year inquiries by 30% through expansion of search marketing and other digital marketing initiatives, as well as event marketing, print advertising, direct mail, radio, outdoor display, and other channels.
- Cut the cost of inquiries acquired through search marketing in half through campaign and landing page optimization, and oversaw the rapid expansion of search marketing and other online strategies.
- Developed a methodology for working with daily deal sites.
- Defined and built reporting solutions for measuring marketing performance by category and source down to cost-per-inquiry and cost-per-enrollment.
- Oversaw continuous improvements of the enrollment and conversion pipeline.
